Upload and confirm
Use your PDF plans and wait for processing. Check sheet numbers, titles and revisions before confirmation. Upload permission does not necessarily include permission to confirm sheets and scales.
Verify the scale
Use a known dimension to calibrate, then verify a second dimension. One confirmed scale applies per sheet. Do not measure a detail drawn at another scale as if it shared the main plan’s scale.
Measure and check
Choose length, area, wall area or count as appropriate. Check deductions, multipliers and waste. Trace the measurement into the estimate and reconcile a known quantity before measuring a large scope.
When a revision arrives
Upload and confirm the new revision. Carried measurements remain pending until reviewed; inspect alignment, changed scope, related sheets and specifications. Approve the revised estimate only after required review is complete.
Focus mode for measuring
Choose Focus (or press F) to let the drawing fill the screen. The measurements list slides in with M; Esc cancels the current step, closes the list, then leaves Focus. Saving works as normal.
