THE BUILDER’S COMMERCIAL WORKBENCH

Compare trade scope before choosing a price.

For Owners and Estimators. Selection is explicit; no trade is priced automatically.

Create the package

Open Trades and record the required scope, requested date and due date. Mark a package Not needed when appropriate. Recording a request does not email the trade.

Record and attach offers

Enter business, reference, amount excluding GST, received/valid-until dates and inclusions/exclusions. Check the source tax basis. Attach a PDF up to 25 MB and wait for scanning. Owners and Estimators can download; Office cannot. Attachment does not extract or verify the amount.

Compare and select

Offers appear cheapest first. Check coverage and dates, then choose Use in estimate. The accepted offer becomes one locked quantity-1 subcontract line. Selection does not order work or notify the trade.

Change a decision

Use this one instead switches offers; Remove from estimate removes the line while keeping the offers. Remove an accepted offer before editing it. If refused as out of date, inspect the refreshed page before retrying.

Review warnings

Missing accepted prices and expired accepted offers appear at approval. Investigate before acknowledging. Accepted source details are frozen with approval. Review client-facing exclusions separately.
